Three Night Hogmanay Break

 

30th December 2023

Arriving on 30th December, settle into your comfy castle room before making your way to one of our lounges to enjoy a traditional afternoon tea followed by an historical tour of the castle. During the afternoon you’ll be treated to a rare opportunity of a meet and greet at our on-site castle falconry, home to a variety of species of hawks, buzzards, owls, eagles and falcons.  Later you’ll sit down to a fabulous three course meal in the candlelit Restaurant.

31st December 2023

Wake to a full Scottish breakfast and during the morning enjoy the opportunity to try laser clay pigeon shooting before a light lunch in the Restaurant.  During the afternoon you may like to partake in a cocktail masterclass or relax in the aqueous spa.

Our Hogmanay dinner dance will begin at 7pm with a drinks reception before enjoying a delicious six-course tasting menu in the regal surrounds of one of the castle’s function suites. Dress code is black tie. Welcome the ‘bells’ with our ceilidh band, playing until midnight, before taking part in the Scottish tradition of first footing‘. At midnight we’ll be celebrating the new year with customary fireworks to start 2024 with a bang!
Hot bacon rolls with be served at midnight and the evening will conclude with a hearty rendition of Auld Lang Syne!

New Year’s Day

New Year’s Day starts with a lazy brunch, served between 10.00 am – 1.00 pm. Follow with our Owls, Myths and Legends display, before indulging in Afternoon Tea.  An evening buffet will be served from 7.30pm in the Ramsay Suite. After dinner guests are invited to the Library Bar to take part in a whisky tasting before retiring to bed.

2nd January 2024

A hearty breakfast will be served before those who have to depart, leave for the day.
