Three Night Hogmanay Break
30th December 2024
Arrive at Dalhousie Castle on 30th December and indulge in some delicious light bites. During the afternoon you’ll be treated to a ‘meet and greet’ from our onsite falconry, home to a variety of species of hawks, buzzards, falcons, eagles, and owls. With over 40 years’ experience in this noble sport, the falconry team are always delighted to share the beauty of these majestic birds with hotel guests and visitors.
Later you’ll sit down to an enchanting five course tasting menu.

Our Hogmanay celebrations begin with an opportunity to enjoy clay pigeon shooting before hunkering down to enjoy a hearty lunch. During the afternoon you may like to partake in a cocktail masterclass or relax in the aqueous spa.
Join Our Hogmanay dinner dance with drinks reception, come suited and booted and bring in the bells with a delicious 5 course gala dinner followed by a ceilidh band playing till midnight, before taking part in the Scottish tradition of first footing. At midnight well be celebrating the new year with a sparkling surprise to bring in 2025 with a bang!
New Year’s Day
Start of the new year with a lazy brunch, Followed with our owls, myths, and legends display. Take a wander around the castle grounds before hunkering down for a hearty lunch.
After a relaxing afternoon, join us for a full-bodied whisky tasting, paired with a comforting buffet.
2nd January 2025
After a traditional Scottish breakfast, why not spend the morning in the Aqueous spa.
Or head into Edinburgh’s city centre for some sightseeing and sale shopping.
