1 and 1/2 hours - Flying 3 of our Spectacular birds to your gloved hand.

2 hours - Fly 2 of our Wonderful Birds & try your hand at Archery.
• The Ultimate Falconry Experience - 2 and 1/2 hours, £85 per person
This is the ultimate falconry package for anyone interested in birds of prey and covers a selection of species. Enjoy one of our gentle owls gliding into your gloved hand before delicately alighting. Although the owls are amongst our most friendly and tactile birds, they are incredible hunters and will amaze you with their senses and silent flight,
A walk around the grounds with one of our Harris’ Hawks will allow it to demonstrate its speed, agility and intelligence, as well as a very personable, mischievous streak! Observe the confidence and skill of one of our Buzzards as they use their broad wings to glide effortlessly to your glove. You will also have the opportunity to meet and handle one of our eagles in an encounter that’s sure to be memorable.
• The Owl Encounter - 1 and 1/2 hours, £60 per person
Ideal for anyone who loves these unique and mysterious birds of prey, the Owl Encounter allows you to handle and fly 3 of our beautiful owls to your gloved hand. As they glide silently to your gauntlet, learn about the biology, habitats and quarry of some of the most highly specialized birds of prey in the world.
The unusual appearance and characteristics of the owl have led to it being heavily featured in mythology and legend from all around the world, from being a sacred bird revered by the Incas for its beautiful head, to being the familiar of witches and in possession of magical powers in medieval Britain. This mythology has more recently been exploited by J K Rowling’s Harry Potter novels. The Dalhousie Castle Falconry Mews are home to a variety of owls who are amongst the biggest personalities here!
