The special evening includes: Three course banquet feast, goblets of wine and mead. Entertainment by the Lords and Ladies of the Court.
The year is 1614, exactly 400 years ago, the Keeper of the Keys welcomes you to Dalhousie Castle, Jock the Jester calls the banquet and guests are invited to leave the year of our Lord 2014 and join the Ghost of Dalhousie “doon stairs” in the Dungeon. The Ladies of the Court will greet you with a friendly smile and a song but take heed to be well behaved!
Devour the feast that will be served from the dungeon kitchens; three courses of delicious food. Throughout the feasting the banquet maids will fill your goblets with mead and wine while entertaining you with songs, sketches and sing-a-longs.
At the end of the show guests are asked to leave the bowels of the castle and return to the year 2014. Feel free to arrive in 17th century dress (costumes can be recommended).
Jacobean evening is Fifty English pounds per person.
