Hogmanay 2013 / 2014  package

Our traditional Hogmanay itinerary includes fine dining in our award winning Dungeon Restaurant, a wonderful Gala Dinner with entertainment and a Ceilidh to bring in the New Year and time to relax in our 13th Century castle hotel.  In addition we include a range of activities from which you can make a personal choice to suit your interests. The highlight of the Celebrations is our Hogmanay Gala Dinner Dance which brings in the New Year in the flamboyant style for which the Scots are internationally renowned, with dancing and hearty renditions of Auld Lang Syne. Our Hogmanay package starts from £999 per person.

Day 1 - Monday 30th December 2013

Early Afternoon: Arrival at the Castle. Please note that check in time is 2.30pm, we can store luggage if you wish to arrive at the castle earlier, and enjoy the facilities

2.30pm - 3.30pm - Archery (Optional Extra - Additional Cost £25.00 per person). Try your hand at this ancient sport on the Castle Lawn. (30 minute booking slots available, booking is essential)

2.30pm - 4.30pm - Full Afternoon tea will be served in the Sir Alexander Room
5.00pm - Welcome greetings from the Management and Staff of the Castle
5.15pm - Historical tour of the Castle by our Castle Steward

6.30pm – 8.00pm - Pre dinner glass of Champagne or Bucks Fizz served in the Library half an hour prior to your Dinning time.                

7.00pm – 8.30pm - Five Course Dinner with coffee, which can be taken in either our Dungeon Restaurant or The Orangery Restaurant. Pre-dinner drinks will served in The Library Bar half an hour prior to your booking. Please note that menu pre-selections are required. Please note that due to limited availability within The Dungeon Restaurant and Orangery we strongly advise you to pre-book your table reservation at the time of reserving your room in order to avoid disappointment.
 
8.30pm - 11.00pm - Clàrsach playing in Alexander Room.
