The Mews houses an impressive variety of species of hawks, buzzards, falcons, eagles and owls at Dalhousie Castle.

Falconry Winter Special Offers

Scottish falconry was an essential pastime of the nobility and would have been practiced on horseback within the grounds of Dalhousie Castle. Today, this art is practiced at the Castle and now you can experience Falconry for yourself, first-hand.
 
Winter Falconry Special Offer:
One and a half hours flying two of our wonderful birds on the beautiful east lawn followed by an up close and personal eagle handling session, only £60 per person. Reservations are essential.

Archery and Falconry:
Try your hand at these two ancient sports, fitting for your stay in the castle, only £80 per person from November 2012 to March 2013. Various dates, reservations are essential.
